Byzantine crosses are a combination of a traditional crucifix, and the symbology of an icon. Contains all the traditional elements of a Byzantine wall cross including: Veronica’s Veil in the top; Under the veil in Greek it reads “Not made by human hands;” the Corpus of Jesus in the center; ICXC; and below Jesus’ feet the skull of Adam. The slanted third bar next to Jesus’ feet represents to penitent thief raising up to heaven, while the unrepentant thief descends to hell.
Made of eco-friendly compostable and recyclable plastic. Finish is a faux rose wood for depth and beauty.
